Regester Larkin by Deloitte is delighted to announce that the annual Crisis Management Conference will take place on Thursday 14 September 2017.
The Crisis Management Conference is now in its fifth year and seen as a forum for exchange and best practice within crisis management. The event is for anyone who is responsible for or with an interest in crisis readiness in their organisations. Our previous attendees include: Chief Risk Officers, Heads of Corporate Security, Heads of Business Continuity, Heads of Facilities, and Heads of Crisis Communication from various organisations around the world.
Over the last twelve months the corporate and public sector have experienced some of the biggest and most high profile corporate crises of the last few years – from terrorist and cyber incidents, to corporate governance scandals, product recalls and fires.
This year’s conference will look at what makes an organisation ‘crisis confident’ and delegates will have the opportunity to hear how organisations prepare for, respond to and recover from crises, and share their views, experiences and the latest crisis management thinking with likeminded professionals.
Our programme includes speakers from Brussels Airport Company, John Lewis Partnership, QinetiQ and the British Olympic Association, who will share their experiences on the following topics:
- Confidence from your stakeholders – lessons learnt following a terrorist incident
- Confidence from the Board – expectations from Non-Executive Directors in a crisis
- Confidence in your ability to respond to a crisis – preparing for Rio 2016 Olympics
- Confidence in your legal team – the role of General Counsel in a crisis
