Charlotte Thompson, senior manager at Regester Larkin by Deloitte, has won Advisor of the Year in CIR Magazine’s Business Continuity Awards 2017.
Charlotte is an operational readiness expert, experienced in quickly understanding a client’s operating environment and developing innovative ways to rehearse or stress-test the integration of teams, plans and processes.
She gained in-depth knowledge of developing and implementing complex operational readiness programmes after working in London 2012 Organising Committee’s readiness testing and exercising team in the build-up to, and in an operational role during Games-time. She then went onto support the British Paralympic and Olympic Associations senior leadership teams as they prepared for Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games against a high-profile and highly-concerning risk environment. This work transformed the way in which the organisations approach ‘Games Readiness’ activities.
Regester Larkin by Deloitte partner Rick Cudworth said: “Charlotte is an outstanding client adviser – she brings a unique combination of real world experience, practical advice and theory and applies it in an intelligent and relevant manner to each of her clients’ needs.”
The Business Continuity awards recognise business continuity, security, resilience and risk professionals whose innovative approaches to client issues and industry knowledge make them stand out.
