Cyber Security: crisis management, contingency planning and corporate culture

In the Business Continuity Institute’s latest Horizon Scan Report, 88 per cent and 81 percent of business continuity professionals responded expressing concern about the prospect of cyber attacks and data breaches occurring.

This concern is perhaps not surprising when you consider that the Institute’s Cyber Resilience Report revealed that two thirds of organisations had experienced at least one cyber security incident during the previous year, and 15 per cent had experienced at least ten.

Regester Larkin by Deloitte will host three webinars during this year’s Business Continuity Awareness Week, the theme of which is cyber security.

Roberta Ramsden-Knowles and Charlotte Thompson will focus on cyber crisis management and advise how organisations can build senior executive level readiness to respond and recover from sophisticated cyber incidents.

Charlotte Thompson and Charles Barlow will look at cyber contingency planning and advise how organisations can go beyond traditional business continuity planning to enhance cyber incident readiness.

And Lyn Webb will look at how an organisation’s culture can help improve cyber resilience.

Find out more about the webinars and book your place on the Business Continuity Awareness Week website.
